He may not have gotten the injury in a jailhouse brawl or in a fight stemming from one of his well-publicized beefs with other rappers, but if you look hard between the tats on his face, Lil Wayne has a nasty new cut over his left eye.

It seems he was at a skate park in St. Louis, Mississippi on Sunday night when he took a tumble off a board, necessitating a trip to the hospital and nine stitches to close the wound.

He doesn’t appear to be any the worse for wear, though. Not long after the incident, he took to his Twitter account and told his almost three million followers, “The Lou was good but I busted my fuggin head at the sk8park! 9stitches! Gnarly gash over my left eye! Luv the people.”
