"Lawless" was a film I missed in theaters and have been dying to see. Last night I finally got my fix with Suddenlink. Lawless is the true story of the infamous Bondurant Brothers: bootlegging siblings who made a run for the American Dream in Prohibition-era Virginia. In this epic gangster tale, inspired by true-life tales of author Matt Bondurant's family in his novel "The Wettest County in the World", the loyalty of three brothers is put to the test against the backdrop of the nation's most notorious crime wave.

I was surprised to see some of the reviews for this one. Rotten Tomatoes giving it a 68%? No Way! Gun slinging, knife weilding bootlegger brothers running wild taking on a corrupt police force and a psycopath federal agent that's out for blood. How could that not be awesome? Beautifully shot in West Virginia and powerful performances from Tom Hardy and Guy Pearce make this one a must see in my book.

Check out "Lawless" tonight OnDemand with Suddenlink.
