Lane Closures in West Central Lubbock Begin Tuesday, May 23

According to Everything Lubbock, "the center turn lane and the northbound leftmost lane on Slide Road from 37th Street to 34th Street" will be closed for approximately 3 days. The 3-day estimate depends largely on weather and since there is a 50/50 chance of thunderstorms tonight the construction times could be altered. If you live or work in the area, planning an alternate route is probably the best idea to avoid slow downs, headaches and to help keep everyone safe. Folks taking their kids to Coronado High School should probably plan for a longer commute if they take Slide northbound.
