Proof Lady Gaga Will Maybe, Definitely Be In the Next Season of ‘American Horror Story’
Ready yourselves, Little Monsters, Lady Gaga may be plotting a major return to TV.
The latest teaser for American Horror Story's upcoming eighth season — one in string of skin-crawling promos the show has been rolling out — appears to feature a character that bears an uncanny resemblance to Gaga. In it, two women can be seen wearing oxygen masks: One decrepit and struggling to breathe, the other (who looks like Gaga) glamorous and powerful, sitting by as she quite literally sucks the life out of her graying companion. All of which seems to heavily imply that Mother Monster has joined the AHS: Apocalypse cast.
As fans well know, the "Million Reasons" singer previously appeared in the anthology's fifth and sixth seasons — Hotel and Roanoke, respectively. Apocalypse will be a crossover between Season 1's Murder House and Season 3's Coven, of which Gaga was notably not a a part, but her characters do connect to those stories. During Season 5, it was revealed that Hotel's vampiric Countess once visited Murder House to receive treatment from Charles Montgomery (the original homeowner and so-called "surgeon to the stars"), while Ryan Murphy himself confirmed Scáthach, Gaga's witchy woodswoman from Roanoke, was the original Supreme — a clear tie to Coven.
If Gaga is willing and available, then, there are a number of ways she could fit into Season 8.
