Y'all know I love Velvet Taco. But it's not always about me. They have so many options for everyone's taste buds that I decided to put that to the test with my work family.

We recently had a party at the office catered by Lubbock's Velvet Taco. Just look at that spread above! They sent lots of food and everyone loved it, so I decided to ask my coworkers here at Townsquare Media to see what they thought. I wanted to hear about their full Velvet Taco experience -- from the taste to presentation.

Coming in first with her recommendation was Camille from our sales department. She said "the Spicy Tikka Chicken taco was absolutely amazing. That was quite possibly the strangest yet most delicious taco I've ever tried." I totally know how you feel, Camille. I love how different their tacos are from everyone else; they're unique and impressive.

Justin, our digital managing editor, was all about the blue chips. "I've always preferred blue chips, but Velvet Taco takes it to the next level. Combined with their creamy queso, and it was heaven in my mouth."

Emily with 102.5 Kiss FM is a vegetarian and told me she loves that Velvet Taco doesn't ignore her dietary needs. They have great vegetarian-friendly options unlike many restaurants. She told me she loves how easy it is to pick up food from Velvet Taco's Lubbock location and recommended the Nashville Hot Tofu to everyone.

Trey, another salesperson at our station, is a frequent Velvet Taco goer, so the food was nothing new to him. He said "the Spicy Tikka Chicken taco was damn good. Honestly, I really, really liked all three. Also, if you don’t get a slice of the red velvet cake at the end, you're doing it wrong."

When it comes to food, Lance, our famous leader of DJs, is Mr. Try It All. He wanted to sample everything because he never had the chance to go to Velvet Taco. He was impressed with the selection they brought in. His favorite item was Buffalo Chicken Taco because it was crispy yet flavorful.

For those of us who know account executive Danny, it was no surprise to hear that he loved the red velvet cake. He was happy the catered event was like a multi-course meal and said when life is uncertain, eat dessert first because it's the best.

There's no going wrong with the menu at Velvet Taco because there really is something for everyone. Check them out at 2401 Glenna Goodacre Blvd. in Lubbock and tell 'em Kelsee Pitman sent ya.
