Kelly Clarkson Doesn’t Bomb the National Anthem at the Super Bowl [VIDEO]

As has become the norm after any big event, it's time to scrutinize the singer of the national anthem from the Super Bowl. It was Kelly Clarkson's turn to attempt the potentially career over-shadowing song. It seems that no matter how well you do, there's always someone wanting to drag it through the mud. Is it because it's our national anthem, and people feel you should know these words by heart? Is it because it is such a well known song that to flub it is just stupid? I don't know but let's score Kelly.

She actually did a really good job. She had some runs, which I personally loathe, but she kept them very simple and short. Plus she hit every note, and remembered every word. What more can you ask for? Kelly is now the standard-bearer for our anthem and all others will have to live up to this:
