Lubbock Restaurant Teams With Animal Services for K-9 Adoption Event Offering Free Microchips
If you've been thinking about adopting a dog, Saturday may be the perfect day. It's a tremendous K-9 adoption event and microchip clinic in Lubbock.
BushHog's Restaurant is partnering with the City of Lubbock Animal Shelter, Lazarus Rescue Foundation and Dusty Puddles Dachshund Rescue for the event, which runs 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1. The goal is helping some adorable dogs find a forever home.
In addition, there will be free microchipping for the first 25 people, then $10 microchipping for pets. Microchipping can get expensive, so this might be a god-send for some pet-owners. Vouchers for spay and neutering will also be available for free (with application and approval).
The restaurant will also offer breakfast tacos for $1.50 until 11 a.m. and coffee from Sugar Brown's.
BushHog's is located at 16202 TX-493 Loop in Lubbock.
