With every preteen and teen aged girl in the world after them you have to wonder is it just talent and good looks that make "One Direction" the biggest boy band sensation ever? Not exactly. Yes they are all cute and yes they can all sing but you forgot one, they are super-mega rich!

The combined wealth of Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik rests at roughly £25 million — or $38.12 million. They knocked out U.K. boy band JLS, who were No. 1 last year and were estimated to be worth £24 million ($36.59 million) this year.

You can imagine 1D’s stock soaring when their movie, ’1D: This Is Us’ is released this summer — and even more so once their summer global tour (with its ticket and merchandise sales) is over. And they’re contractually obligated to keep piping out hits and raking in cash for three more years!
