Judge Accepts Guilty Plea From Jason White for Producing Child Pornography

On Monday, September 19th, a judge accepted the plea deal of a former Lubbock dentist. Forty-two-year-old Jason Paul White pleaded guilty to one count of production of child pornography after being charged with 16 counts relating to child pornography.

White admitted to the court that he illegally filmed seven victims over a 15-year period. Some of the victims were as young as 13. In one case, White coerced a 17-year-old boy into recording sexually explicit content, producing several videos over the course of a year.

White was arrested in January after a search of his home and business revealed a Dropbox account where all the videos were stored. White was indicted the following month by a grand jury in Lubbock. Then, in August, additional indictments were filed, alleging multiple child pornography and enticement crimes against several victims.

Due to the plea agreement, White is required to forfeit his interests in his home in Lubbock as well as a 966-acre ranch in Garza County. He will also have to register as a sex offender and will have supervised release. White remains in custody awaiting sentencing, which does not have a date set at this moment.

White faces a minimum of 15 years in federal prison, but no more than 30 years. 

The investigation was spearheaded by the Lubbock Police Department, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Homeland Security Investigations, and the High Technology Investigative Unit within the Criminal Division's Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section.
