Lifetime Picked the Perfect Texas Town for Its Next Movie
It's only August, but I'll admit it, I'm already looking forward to cozy movie season!
You know the kind. A charming little town, a bustling farmers market, a local coffee shop, and somehow two people who definitely shouldn't fall in love... end up falling in love anyway.
They're cheesy. They're predictable. And somehow, I always end up watching them!
So when I found out Lifetime is filming in the Texas Hill Country town of Boerne, my first thought wasn't, "Why Boerne?" It was, "Well, that tracks."
This Texas Town Already Feels Like a Lifetime Movie
Even if you've never been to Boerne, you've probably seen pictures of its charming downtown. The Hill Country town is filled with locally owned shops, restaurants, walkable streets, and the kind of scenery that looks like it belongs on a postcard.
It's exactly the kind of place you'd expect a TV romance to unfold.
The more I looked into it, the less surprising the filming became. Boerne already has the cozy, welcoming vibe these movies are known for.

Lifetime Is Officially Filming in Boerne
At first, locals noticed production crews around town and started wondering what was being filmed. Now, it looks like they have their answer.
A representative with the Boerne Farmers Market confirmed that Lifetime reached out for permission to film there, and video from the set shows crews working around the market.
Considering farmers markets seem to appear in just about every feel-good small-town movie, it feels like the perfect location for the woman from the big city to fall in love with the small town guy; who almost always owns a small bakery or coffee shop!

This One Is Already Going on My Watch List
I'll be the first to admit these movies are a guilty pleasure.
I know exactly how they're going to end. I know there will probably be an awkward first meeting, some misunderstanding halfway through, and a big heartfelt moment before the credits roll.
...And I'll probably still watch it!
Now I'm even more curious to see how Boerne ends up looking on screen. Whether you're a longtime Lifetime fan or just appreciate discovering charming places around Texas, this is one movie I'll definitely be keeping an eye on.
