Texas War Veterans Invade Washington D.C.
In life, we experience good and bad things throughout our time on this planet. One unfortunate fact of life is the occurrence of disagreements between countries or factions. Thus leading to war or some other kind of open conflict between them. If only everyone else had that famous Texas charm that we have here in the South.

Like it or not, war has been a longstanding nuisance to mankind since the dawn of our civilization. The history of war is littered with stories of tragedy, loss, overcoming insurmountable odds, and devastating circumstances of destruction. Having said this, we can never forget what the men and women who experienced it firsthand went through and lived to tell the tale.
American Survivors In Modern Times
In 2025, there will still be survivors of WWII, the Korean War, and especially the Vietnam War living in the Permian Basin. These American heroes deserve all the praise and recognition for serving the United States military and their contributions to the war effort. Luckily for us here in the Permian Basin, there is a local organization that is dedicated to doing just that.
Giving Back To Veterans
The Permian Basin Honor Flight is a non-profit organization that helps fund the travel for U.S. veterans to travel to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials that were erected in their honor. In many cases, these people are past the age of retirement and are often on a limited income. This is an all-inclusive experience that is no-cost to the veteran and is likely to bring pride, honor, and respect to these living legends.
Fundraising Event
The organization collects donations on their web page year-round; however, today, June 17, 2025, from 5 pm to 7 pm, they are teaming up with Domino's to conduct a special event to help raise the funds they need to assist these veterans.
The Offer...
- $3 Medium Hand Tossed Cheese or Pepperoni Pizzas from the Domino's trailers from 5-7PM.
- $1 dollar from every pizza purchase will be donated to the Permian Basin Honor Flight. We will also be accepting donations from customers.
