Buc-ee goes back to school with Texas A&M!

Texas A&M and Buc-ee’s Unveil Official Co-Branded Apparel Collection

Texas A&M is partnering with iconic Texas travel center giant Buc-ee’s to launch an official co-branded merchandise line. It makes total sense seeing how Buc-ee's founder is a proud A&M grad. The collaboration debuts with a custom-designed T-shirt celebrating the shared heritage of both Texas institutions.

Celebrating an Aggie Entrepreneurial Legacy

The merchandise rollout highlights the enduring relationship between the university and Buc-ee’s founder Arch "Beaver" Aplin III, a 1980 Texas A&M graduate. Aplin opened the original Buc-ee’s in Lake Jackson in 1982, eventually expanding the single convenience store into a nationally recognized travel center empire known for its squeaky-clean bathrooms, brisket, Beaver Nuggets, and beaver mascot, Buc-ee!

A First of Its Kind Collaboration Between Buc-ee's and Texas A&M

The new apparel partnership follows an initiative earlier this year when Texas A&M became the first university to stock Buc-ee’s snacks and goods directly on campus, offering over 45 food and retail items across student stores.

Availability Across Select Texas Locations

The initial T-shirt release went on sale August 4 and is available exclusively at the Barnes & Noble campus bookstore in College Station and across 20 designated Buc-ee’s travel centers throughout the state.

Connecting Buc-ee's and Texas A&M On Campus

The retail partnership serves as an early preview of the hands-on academic mission driving the upcoming Aplin Center. Funded in part by a $60 million contribution from Aplin, the facility currently under construction in the center of campus will serve students pursuing degrees in hospitality, retail management, merchandising, food technology, and customer experience.

What's Next for Buc-ee's and Texas A&M

Texas A&M leadership noted that future product drops are currently in development, with additional co-branded items planned to coincide with the university's upcoming 150th anniversary celebrations.
