When you read that headline, your brain probably wants to go to something political or wonder what goods we spent the most on in general, right? I mean, that's where my head went when I first read this. So imagine my shock when I read what you're about to read.

It's not political, and it's not material...well, ok, maybe KIND of material. In 2025, Potter County spent a touch over $1.5 MILLION dollars...on OnlyFans, the adult platform that allows users to subscribe to an "influencer" page, for, well, some racy content.

Obviously, with that kind of money spent, Potter County ranked number one in the Texas Panhandle when it comes to money spent on the platform. In fact, Potter County outspent the second closest panhandle county by over THREE TIMES. In case you were wondering, Randall County was number two in the panhandle...with $430,000 spent on the platform.

Now, I will say this. The $1.5 million spent in Potter County pales in comparison to other Texas counties. For example, Houston spent just shy of $32 million last year alone on the platform. However, Potter County did rank 29th out of 254 counties in Texas. It seems they love themselves some OnlyFans.
