
Texas Mother Accused of Purchasing Ammunition and Gear To Help Son Shoot Up Middle School
A shocking story is continue to develop out of San Antonio where a middle school student has been charged with terrorism after planning to commit a mass shooting at a middle school in San Antonio. But maybe the most shocking part of the story isn't that he wanted to carry out a mass shooting, but who was supporting him.

Texas Mom Arrested For Helping Son With Plans To Shoot Up School
The mother, Ashley Pardo, was arrested on Monday after San Antonio Police say she gave or purchased various items for her son to carry out an attack on his middle school.
San Antonio Police say she gave or bought her son ammunition, magazines, tactical gear, and "various army clothing" according to WFAA.
The arrest warrant also says that Pardo was told about the threats her son had made about a school shooting. Detectives said that she "expressed to the school her support" of her son’s "violent expressions and drawings," and wasn't concerned by them according to WFAA.
She faces a charge of aiding in commission of terrorism and was released from jail on a $75,000 bond.
Texas Middle School Student Planned Attack, Known To Police
Fortunately, this boy was on the radar of police in the area. According to WFAA, in January a detective spoke to him over "concerning drawings" of Rhodes Middle School that included a map called suicide route. He had also reportedly written the name of the school with a muzzle flash drawn above it. In April he was suspended for researching mass shootings in New Zealand on a school computer
The boy had been living with a relative according to police due to his behavior. The relative called police Monday after finding things in her home that concerned her.
He has been arrested and faces a charge of terrorism.
