Where do you think you can see the best sunrises and sunsets in the world? Could it be in Texas? What about West Texas, where the land can be flat and seemingly go on forever? At least here, your views won't be blocked by tall buildings or mountains.

A few weeks ago we asked listeners to submit their sunrise and sunset pictures that they had captured in Lubbock and across West Texas. And our listeners didn't disappoint.

Many say that it's hard to beat a sunrise or sunset in West Texas, and while there may be some tropical destinations can put on a show and give us a run for our money, I do believe it's hard to beat our sunrises and sunsets.

That's even more true after a big dust storm blows through. Not that I ever root for dust storms, but sunsets that follow them are normally pretty awesome.
