
Texas Tech Football Jumps In The Rankings, Faces Kansas State Saturday
Texas Tech Football is once again rising in the polls thanks to their blowout win against Oklahoma State this past Saturday. Texas Tech took down Oklahoma State 42-0 in Lubbock. The victory improved the Red Raiders to 7-1 on the season and 4-1 in the Big 12.
Texas Tech Now Ranked #13 in the AP Poll
Texas Tech jumped to #13 in the AP Poll and the USA Today Coaches Poll after the win on Saturday. According to a press release from Texas Tech Athletics stated that the Red Raiders are looking to move to 8-1 for the first time since 2008 when they travel to play Kansas State this Saturday.

Texas Tech also reported that the Red Raiders are the only team in college football to have at least seven wins by at least 20 points. The Red Raiders also have the second highest margin of victory.
Texas Tech Faces Kansas State Saturday
The Red Raiders will travel Saturday to play Kansas State at 2:30pm on FOX.. Kansas State enters the game at 4-4 overall, 3-2 in Big 12 play. With a win, Texas Tech continues to control its own destiny with the Big 12 Championship still on the line.

Saturday won't be an easy game against Kansas State which has won two games in a row. In fact, Kansas State has won the past eight meetings between the two teams.
Texas Tech returns home on November 8th to host #10 BYU at 11am. That game will be broadcasted on either ESPN or ABC.
