Red Raider & Lady Raider Tipoff Luncheon Wednesday

Texas Tech Basketball fans rejoice, the season is getting closer to tipping off and on Wednesday, the men's and women's basketball programs will take part in the 2023 Red Raider Club Tipoff Luncheon at the United Supermarkets Arena.

Both the Red Raider Basketball team and Lady Raider Basketball team will take part in the event on Wednesday. Doors open at 11:15 a.m. and the program begins at Noon on the court. According to a press release from Texas Tech University, members of both programs will be interviewed an the audience will hear from Kirby Hocutt as well.

According to Texas Tech, both teams start regular season action next week.

Along with head coach Krista Gerlich, the Lady Raiders will be represented by Jasmine Shavers and Rhyle McKinney. On the men's side, Pop Isaacs and Warren Washington will be interviewed by Haxton before remarks from head coach Grant McCasland. Both programs are set to begin their seasons next week with the Lady Raiders hosting UTRGV at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 7 before the Red Raiders take on Texas A&M-Commerce in their opener at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8 at the USA.
