Are you ready? 'Password' is the most hacked password in our great country... 'password'. How hackers are able to crack it I'll never know.
If it makes you feel any better, in 2024 thus far, Germany, Italy and Spain's most hacked password was '123456' while Russia was 'qwerty'.
By analyzing over 18 million passwords worldwide, the Safety Detectives were able to determine the most and least secure passwords in some of the largest countries.
What are the most USED passwords in the U.S.?
U.S. citizens are most likely to use an increasing number sequence, a pattern on the keyboard or a common word/phrase. For example, some of the most common passwords in our country from this year include the following:

- Again, kind of odd, but okay
Fun Fact: A quarter of all passwords in the USA contain the letters 'qwerty' in some form or fashion.
