Running Everywhere

We are hitting the ground running and if you are living in Texas then you know that the ground has been kind of muddy. If you are a runner though in or around the Lubbock area then you might be interested in the Ropesville color run event that sounds like a piece of cake. Especially, for my cousin Sam who came in 13th this weekend in a race in San Antonio.

Do not fret though because if running isn't your thing there are plenty of things to do this month to keep you on your feet and moving around. Those things do include plenty of Father's Day events to try out and experience in and around the Hub City.

Chicken and Ice Cream?

If you are looking at a great Father's Day gift you could try taking your dad to KFC and testing out the urban legend associated with them. If you don't know that myth then you could probably take a look at this article to see if they will refill your bucket of chicken for you, for free! You can't have chicken without dessert, maybe Blue Bell's newest flavor? I will have to pass because I am allergic to chocolate and not a fan of coffee but if those are your favorite flavors then step right up to the challenge of this awesome new flavor.
