Country Music Superstar Josh Turner to Perform at Buddy Holly Hall
Those who enjoy country music are all too familiar with the buttery-smooth vocals and deep dulcet tones of the one and only Josh Turner.
For those unfamiliar, this is the "baby lock them doors and turn the lights down low" guy. Such a great song.
Mark your calendars, because Josh Turner is coming to Lubbock in May during his visit to Buddy Holly Hall as the next stop in his This Country Music Thing Tour.
Josh Turner at Buddy Holly Hall
South Carolina native Josh Turner will be performing at Buddy Holly Hall on May 21, 2026, and tickets are available from February 25 until they sell out.
His tour will hit West Texas after multiple shows in New Jersey and New Hampshire. After blessing us with his presence, he'll hit the road again and visit Louisiana and Alabama.
A Long History of Success
Josh Turner has been turning heads for decades with one of his most notable hits, "Your Man," on the double Platinum-selling album, which turns 20-years-old in 2026.
Another massive feat was his debut album, Long Black Train, released in 2004, that reached certified Platinum status with about 1.5 million sales worldwide and over 330 million online streams.
Country music was ingrained into my childhood, and artists like Josh Turner were always heard echoing off the walls of our home every weekend. It's always so exciting when big artists perform here in Lubbock and rub shoulders with us common folk!
What's Josh Turner Been Up To?
One notable event that recently happened with Josh Turner was when he was invited to perform for NASA astronauts following his release of "Two Steppin' On The Moon."
