How To Support The Chad Hasty TTU Memorial Scholarship

KFYO is proud to continue its effort in fostering the new generation of leaders with the Chad Hasty Memorial Scholarship in partnership with the Free Market Institute (FMI).

October 13 is Chad's birthday, and we couldn't think of a better way to continue honoring his legacy than to remind his dedicated listeners of ways to support a mission that he was passionate about. A mission centered on bolstering the new wave of young professionals in political sciences, economics, and other crucial fields.

The Chad Hasty Memorial Scholarship

Chad Hasty was a proud graduate of Texas Tech University, and the Free Market Institute was more than happy to honor West Texas' most-listened-to talk show host with a unique scholarship.

Where Will the Contributions Go?

All contributions through the Chad Hasty Memorial Scholarship Fund will be used to support selected undergraduate students who have completed FMI's Political Economy Reading Program.

Each applicant will be selected through a competitive process hosted each semester at Texas Tech. Successful candidates will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

On behalf of KFYO and Townsquare Media, we are grateful for Texas Tech University and this scholarship for their work in supporting young Texans in honor of Chad Hasty's lasting impact on talk radio.

So, join us in wishing our friend, our co-worker, our family member, Chad Hasty, a happy birthday by honoring the decades-long legacy he left behind on KFYO.
