Celebrating a Year of Lubbock’s Mugshot Monday with 58 Arrests

It's been one year since Lubbock's Mugshot Monday began but started as just the weekend mugshot lineup and has evolved since it's inception. This was because of all the readers who want to stay informed on what felony arrests were made in their city and would not be where it is without all of you. Thank you and lets see what you might have missed in the news last week.

Food Capital

Lubbock is known for its great music and very great colleges but one thing many people miss is the food. One of those very amazing foods is no other than the very tasty roasted green hatch chili roll from one of Lubbock's very popular grocery stores, you don't want to miss out on that. Another local Lubbock-area food that you shouldn't miss out on is the beef wellington from Chez Sami. This fantastic French restaurant is actually expanding from Wolfforth to Lubbock in October which means that you can get some amazing exquisite cuisine without needing a passport. One thing Lubbock needs desperately is a pizza vending machine because sometimes you just need a whole pizza pie at 3 a.m..

Life's Not Fair

We spoke about food but some of the best food comes in September with the South Plains Fair. This year however the fair is getting a few new things which include food and rides that will make your experience just that much more fun. One of those things you will also see this year are the animals and that includes cattle and one other animal that isn't that baaaad. While leading with two distinct animals there seems to be one chunky animal that we can't get enough of. Well that is until it crosses my path after already being late but it's just so cute, especially in the video I took.

These 58 mugshots are of individuals arrested and booked into the Lubbock County Detention Center during the week of August 21 - August 27, 2023. The individuals charged should be presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. All arrestees featured below are those charged with a felony offense. A felony offense is classified by the severity of punishment, ranging from the low level state jail felony all the way to a capital felony. Also featured are any individuals who were held on a Fugitive Warrant or Detainer, a United States Marshall Remand, or Immigration Customs Enforcement Detainer.
