Yellowstone Star Set To Come To Lubbock This Month

Actor Barry Corbin has appeared in hundreds of movies and TV shows over the past 40 years. You can remember him as early as Lonesome Dove back in 1989 and Northern Exposure back in 1990. He is still going strong playing roles in The Ranch, Yellowstone, and Tulsa Kings.

According to Cactus Theater, "Before he made his first on-screen appearance in Urban Cowboy, Barry had already acted in theater for over 20 years. He started off performing on stages in Lubbock, Texas, where he grew up – and eventually acting in plays all along the East Coast. Corbin was known as a classically-trained Shakespearean actor."

Corbin studied theatre at Texas Tech and is a member of the West Texas Hall of Fame. You may also know him because he was the voice of 99.5 when it was The Bear.

The event is called An Evening with Barry Corbin. It is happening at The Cactus Theater in downtown Lubbock.

Corbin together a presentation that is a celebration of his personal and professional life. It includes photos from some of his most cherished moments. The event is highly interactive with Corbin taking questions from the audience.

At the conclusion of the show, he’ll take photos with audience members and sign autographs.

 This is all part of a fundraiser to help the venue raise money for upgrading its marquee.

Actor Barry Corbin will be here on Saturday, May 27, 2023, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The Cactus Theater is located at 1812 Buddy Holly Ave, Lubbock, TX 79401. Tickets range from $35 all the way up to $200.
