This is something a lot of people in Lubbock have been wondering. When will this popular fast-food chain come to Lubbock?

Well, we all know it takes time. In-N-Out first came to Texas in 2011. On May 11th, the restaurant opened the state's first two In-N-Out locations on the same day in Allen and Frisco.

But the company dates back a lot long than that. It started back in 1948. The first-ever location was opened in California by Harry Snyder. It was a drive-thru hamburger stand about 10 square feet. Every day before dawn, Harry would visit the meat and produce markets to pick out fresh ingredients, which he prepares by hand. Meanwhile, his wife Esther diligently takes care of all the accounting for the new restaurant at their home right around the corner

Fast forward to 1973, they had their 25th Anniversary. At the quarter-century mark, In-N-Out had 13 restaurants open all in Los Angeles County.

In 1979, they opened their first-ever dining room restaurant. This was restaurant #21 in Ontario and it became In-N-Out's first single drive-lane location. After this, only 13 more restaurants were built without a dining room.

In 1994, they opened their 100th location. Currently, Inn-N-Out has around 400 locations in the United States, and around 40 locations are in Texas.

When you go to In-N-Out you can get hamburgers, cheeseburgers, french fries, and shakes. One of their most popular things is on the "not-so-secret-menu" called animal style where you'll get a burger with mustard fried into each patty, pickles, chopped grilled onions, and an extra helping of In-N-Out's famous sauce.

So the question everyone is wondering is will they be coming here soon? I mean I am getting so many questions about it on my Facebook and the post wasn't even about In-N-Out.

A spokesperson with In-N-Out told me that "We’re very grateful to hear from a number of great Customers in Lubbock and the surrounding area who would like to have their own In-N-Out Burger nearby, but unfortunately, we’re not working on any sites there at the moment, as we continue to focus our efforts primarily upon our existing store markets."

Hopefully, that will change but I did put us on their radar!

You can find out more about them on their website.
