So this is something so shocking to me that I never thought I would write about in Lubbock.

I have a special love for food trucks and when I saw this I couldn't believe what I was reading. The community in this area has always supported one another but who would have thought something like this would happen?

Simon See, the owner of Taste Buds Food Co. noticed a strange review on their page. It was someone posting just recently about how bad the experience was. She looked into it and wanted to talk with them to try and get it sorted out but found out that person was already pronounced dead.

So she posted her experience on Facebook and other food trucks were noticing the same thing. I blurred out the name and picture out of privacy for the person.

Here are some of the reviews.

Now we don't know if this was someone related to the person or what is happening. The point of this is that if you are looking at going to try a food truck please don't believe these reviews.

"We work really hard to make connections and foster community within the food trucks and seeing this really saddens me. It would be one thing if it was some random person but we think it's someone within our own community. We are really tight though and through group messages and Facebook posts, the word has spread fast. I will always stick up for what is right, and an act that was meant to do harm may have actually helped strengthen the ties and support within the food truck owner community. Also, everyone knows Taste Buds and Mai Thai are delicious, so nice try," said Ashley Zubia with Llano Cubano.

None of these food trucks deserve this and I hope if y'all are reading this to please go support them. They really do have a love and passion for their food truck.
