I'm typically a very positive person. It actually annoys some people how upbeat that I am about most things. But, I DO get annoyed and even angry sometimes. I'm sure many of you are the same!

For example: I HATE when there isn't a sign warning me that there's massive roadwork or a closed road ahead. You're telling me you're spending all this money and inconveniencing the entire town or neighborhood...and you can't put up a $20 sign or two letting me know I'm about to run into a colossal amount of road construction?!?

This happens at Buffalo Springs Lake--where I live--sometimes when it rains. All the water from Lubbock goes through the drainage system and drains into Buffalo. Sometimes that fills the lake up too much and it overflows into the road by the campgrounds. The very campgrounds I have to drive by to get to my house. Which really isn't a big deal at all.

But...THEY DON'T PUT UP A SIGN TELLING US IT'S CLOSED!!!!!!

It drives me BONKERS because it's such an easy fix! All they would have to do is put up a sign at the top of the hill saying something like this...
