If you have any Quaker Oats products currently in your home, it is important to pay close attention to this information.
Quaker Oats Salmonella Contaminaton
As of December 15th, 2023, Quaker Oats has announced a recall on over 50 of their products due to potential Salmonella contamination. These products include a wide variety of their granola bars, granola cereal, and more.
Salmonella is a major health risk that can cause serious illness, especially in children, elderly, and immunocompromised individuals. Those infected with Salmonella may experience fever, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain. In extreme cases, it can enter the bloodstream and cause more serious illnesses including arterial infections, endocarditis, and arthritis.
States Impacted By Recall
The contaminated products currently under recall are distributed to all 50 States as well as Puerto Rico, Guam, and Saipan. See below for a full list of contaminated products.
If you have any of the listed products in your possession, please do not consume them and dispose of them as soon as possible. If you consumed any of the recalled products and are experiencing symptoms of Salmonella, please see your doctor and limit contact with other people to avoid spreading the illness.
