
Shreveport Police Arrest Two in Separate Gun Crimes
The Shreveport Police Department has arrested two men following an active effort to get guns out of the wrong hands.
· Michael Moore, 66, was arrested following an incident at a Jewella Avenue, Senior Living Apartment Home, where he reportedly pulled a firearm on an employee. Moore is a convicted felon with a prior burglary conviction. He has been charged with aggravated assault with a firearm.
· Lonnie Garner, 41, was arrested for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and resisting an officer. Garner was stopped for speeding on I-20 near Monkhouse, refused to comply with officers, and resisted arrest. Officers found a firearm during the incident. Garner has four prior convictions for gun charges and three additional arrests involving firearms.
