Shreveport Police have been working hard to protect victims of domestic violence and holding offenders accountable. SPD were able to make four arrests last week to get DV offenders off the street.

Last Thursday, Chadrick Edwards was arrested on a charge of domestic abuse by strangulation.

Also, last Thursday Rondicious Davis was arrested and booked in to the Shreveport City Jail for domestic abuse and trespassing.

The third offender that was taken in last Thursday, Curtis Foster was taken in by SPD for domestic battery of a pregnant victim, along with domestic abuse battery with child endangerment.

Then Last Friday, Tamya Griffin was arrested for domestic abuse battery by strangulation and interfering with emergency communication.

"Domestic violence is a pervasive problem that plagues families and communities alike. The Shreveport Police Department strongly affirms that love should never hurt. We encourage victims to seek help and remind the public that resources are available to support those affected.
