Back in late July, Shreveport Police Detectives began investigating a car theft, and may need the public's help catching the suspect.

The person told SPD that around 5am, her car was broken in to and stolen from the driveway of her home on Despot Road. According to the victim, two unknown males entered her car with force, started it, and drove away.

Video evidence was submitted and Police were able to get clear pictures of who they think are the suspected car thieves. The two were young Black males wearing gloves at the time of the theft.

Shreveport Police are urging the public to come forward with any information that could lead to the detainment of the suspects for questioning.

From SPD:

"Detectives have released stills from the video evidence in an effort to identify the suspects involved. Anyone with information is urged to contact Shreveport Police at 318-673-7300 or Caddo Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373."
