Texas Man Shoots Wife In Head During Horrific Murder-Suicide
In a tragic twist of fate, a domestically violent relationship in East Texas ended when a husband shot his wife in the head and then turned the gun on himself during a murder-suicide.
EAST TEXAS SHOOTING IN THE NAME OF LOVE
The fatal incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. on July 18, at a residence in Woodway, Texas. Officers quickly responded to an alarming call for a possible murder-suicide.
Woodway Public Safety Department said they received a call from a man claiming there would be a murder-suicide at his home. He also let them know that when officers entered the house, they would find him in the living room.

As officers arrived at the caller's home they had to use force to enter the home. As they walked in they found a deceased man and woman, identified as Daniel and Felica Brown. As they examined the married couple, officers noticed each had a gunshot wound in their head.
Investigators determined the horrific incident was part of an attempted murder-suicide. Details found at the scene revealed that Daniel fatally shot his wife and then himself. This was revealed in a note left by Daniel that said his wife had been shot earlier in the day.
According to witnesses, the couple was spotted arguing in their driveway earlier that day. When they went inside the home, 'pops' were heard, which officials believe were the gunshots.
