America's Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys is officially out on Netflix today and viewers noticed Wichita Falls actually made the cut.

In case you have missed the promotion the past few months. Netflix has been working on a documentary on the Dallas Cowboys dynasty of the 90's. Over the next day or so, fans will be sharing clips and highlights from the show. Looks like someone in Wichita Falls has already spotted the former training camp home in one of the episodes.

WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD FOR EPISODE ONE OF THE GAMBLER

@3aves on X shared a screenshot of Memorial Stadium just six minutes into the first episode. You can see the Mustang Country sign at the top of Memorial Stadium for Midwestern State University. It looks like this documentary could go all the way to the Wichita Falls training camp days, which has some very interesting stories if they decide to show them. Including what has become known as 'Scissorgate' and Michael Irvin allegedly stabbing another teammate. Read more about that here.

Besides Memorial Stadium showing up in the first episode, it primarily focuses on how Jerry Jones came to his fortune through oil money. One well got him enough money to buy the Dallas Cowboys off of H.R. 'Bum' Bright. At the time, the Dallas Cowboys became the first sports franchise to be sold for over 100 million dollars. The team would cost Jerry Jones 140 million to be exact, but they're now worth 12.8 billion according to 2025 estimates.

The first episode also delves into Jerry Jones first big move as the new owner of the Dallas Cowboys. Firing the team's only head coach in franchise history. The Dallas Cowboys officially started in 1960 and one man had been the head guy on the sidelines. Tom Landry helped the Dallas Cowboys win two Super Bowls and gave them twenty consecutive winning seasons. To this day, he has the third most playoff wins in NFL history with 20. Only Bill Belichick with 31 and Andy Reid with 28 have more.

It's not crazy for a new owner to come in and shake things up in their first season of ownership. However, firing the only head coach Cowboys fans have ever known rubbed several people the wrong way. Jones in the Netflix documentary said he received death threats after it was announced. "I was Darth Vader," Jones said.

We will wait and see how the rest of the series plays out. It has eight episodes in total on Netflix.
