What Did We Learn?
Five Guys is always near the top of most expensive chain burgers, but as you can see they did not increase their prices the most over the past two years percentage wise. According to Moneygeek, a big reason for the higher prices the past two years is the increasing cost of labor and the growing popularity of delivery apps like DoorDash and Uber Eats. These apps charge restaurants a fee, which in turn makes them raise prices to make up for that lost revenue.
