How were the ‘buggiest’ cities determined?

Terminix looked at which businesses used their services from October 2023 to September 2024 to reach their conclusions. Here’s what they found:

Top 10 ‘Buggiest’ U.S. Cities

  1. Dallas-Fort Worth, TX
  2. Houston, TX
  3. Los Angeles, CA
  4. Atlanta, GA
  5. San Francisco, CA
  6. Honolulu, HI
  7. New York, NY
  8. Tampa-St. Pete, FL
  9. Columbus, OH
  10. Miami-Ft. Lauderdale, FL

It’s no surprise that most of the Top 10 are in warmer climates as bugs tend to thrive in warm weather. That’s why we need to be more vigilant in looking for signs of a building infestation in our neck of the woods.
