There were 8 more felony arrests this week than last week in the Nacogdoches County Jail. Quite a few were booked for drug and alcohol-related charges, but this week it was all about murder charges.

3 Of These Pretrail Felons Are Charged With Capital Murder

According to the Nacogdoches Daily Sentinel, seven people were charged with the capital murder of 18-year-old Angle Bonilla. Authorities from the Nacogdoches Police Department collaborated with agencies around the country to make these arrests.

This was first reported to NPD as a robbery attempt with multiple shots fired. Police found a stockpile of weapons that could have been used in the crimes during the execution of warrants Thursday.

This is believed to be the highest number of suspects ever in an NPD murder investigation. The seven suspects were taken into custody without incident in multiple Texas cities and one in Louisiana.
