UPDATE: The contract between SPC and Tumbleweed + Sage has been terminated as per a Facebook post released by Tumbleweed + Sage. 

Wolfforth's Tumbleweed + Sage Coffeehouse is expanding into Lubbock, according to their announcement on Facebook:

Now that the ink is dry we have BIG NEWS!! We are opening a second location inside the new South Plains College building on 13th St (the old Lubbock City hall)! Yes it will be open to the public! The new location will be (hopefully) open by February 1st.

I am absolutely thrilled for both Tumbleweed + Sage but also for all the South Plains College Downtown (1625 13th Street) students who will have access to a delicious and energizing drink before class.

Back in my day (geez, I feel old using that phrase) the downtown SPC campus was downright spooky and I can't remember if it even had a vending machine. It's nice to see SPC in a nice, new location with nice, new amenities.

The original Tumbleweed + Sage is located in Wolfforth at 610 Donald Preston Drive. It's absolutely adorable, very comfortable, and has fantastic drinks.
