Warming Up

Who doesn't love a good cinnamon roll. The best are still warm with ample amounts of that delicious white glaze on top. I confess, if I'm not getting that glaze all over the place, then I'm not going to be 100% happy. At this point I also have to put in a plug for Wendy's Cinnabon Pull-Apart, which is one of the most amazing introductions into the world of cinnamon roll technology ever (and yes, they're always warm).

Now, Let's Go Big!

So now that I have you salivating, consider a trip to Bonnie's Donuts in League City Texas. Bonnie's is home to a five-pound cinnamon roll. This particular cinnamon roll has been featured in various eating challenges, used as a birthday cake, and also produced in different flavors. Check out this Red Velvet version:

But Wait!

At some point Bonnie, or whoever runs Bonnie's decided that a five-pound cinnamon roll was child's play, and then produced a ten-pound cinnamon roll.  Think about this, the average birth-weight of baby in the United States is 7.6 pounds. This cinnamon roll is 2.4 pounds heavier than an average baby! Have a look:

It's Insane

I'll be the first to admit that the cinnamon roll pictured about is one of the craziest things I've seen produced. My hats off to the man at Elder Eats who "did it right" but just grabbing up the goopy delicious center with no shame. As I mentioned before, I like a lot of glaze and it looks like it's going to take thirty minutes just to lick all the frosting off his knuckles. So we salute Bonnie's Donuts in League City, you truly are "Big In Texas".
