Mai Thai Kitchen, a food truck that has a very loyal following and tons of buzz, is calling it quits here in Lubbock. The last day of service will be Friday, September 11th, or when the truck's inventory runs out (I have a feeling the latter will happen first).

According to a social media post from Mai Thai Kitchen, the truck has decided to wrap things up because the chef (truly the heart and soul of any food establishment) has a new opportunity: "​Our chef has received an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime career offer that we simply couldn’t pass up, which means our family will be moving on to a new chapter."
