A new theme park is coming to North Richland Hills in 2024 and the kiddos are going to go nuts for it. It's only the second of its kind and is centered all around one of the most popular children's cartoons EVER.

Can you guess what it is? I'll give you a hint...there is a certain pig involved...

If you guessed it has something to do with Peppa, then you're spot on.

The second Peppa Pig Theme Park is set to open in the former Mountasia Family Fun Center, along Boulevard 26, right next to NRH20 Family Water Park. It's going to be 14 acres of fun and will likely feature things similar to the first Peppa Pig Theme Park, located in Cypress Garden, Florida, like rides, interactive attractions, and themed playscapes that are based on different locations in the show. Kids are going to lose their minds over it.

It's a little bit of a drive from Lubbock, but since we've lost our only theme park, it might be time to start planning a 2024 trip with the kids to check out this new park. I don't have any kids of my own, but I'm already thinking about taking a trip to check it out...for science...or something.

Honestly, if anyone decides to go, call me. I want in. I'll even hold your purse while you ride the rides. I don't mind. I'm always down to clown around at a silly amusement park. Plus, after we check out Peppa Pig, we can always head over to the waterpark and finish the weekend off there.

I'll bring gas money.
