A chunky, extra-fluffy kitty cat was found near Texas Tech University. It could not have gotten that chubby without a few treats from a loving home. We've helped lots of lost animals in Lubbock find their parents. Maybe you know where this little cutie lives and can reunite it with its family!

I came across a video this morning on the Lubbock County Mughshots Facebook page of an adorable cat doing its best to climb up a cat tree. It's so cute! It took me a second to realize it wasn't just a silly cat video (my fave) but a cat who is lost in the Hub City.

Here are a few photos I snagged from the video:

The only details I have about this precious baby is that it is afraid of other cats, which is pretty normal. Most kitties aren't stoked to make new friends right off the bat, and this love muffin could be a little traumatized from its journey. You never know.

From what I can see in the video, the lost cat is brown, black, and maybe gray. Oh, and did I mention it's hefty? I adore chonky kitties! The video of it climbing up the cat tree melted my heart!

It's your turn, Lubbock, to help this baby get home! Please share this article with your friends and family in the Texas Tech area, and let's find its furrever home!

If this is your cat, or if you know the owners, please reach out to Lubbock County Mugshots in a message by clicking here.

Oh, and shout out to Lubbock County Mugshots for being the glue that holds the community together. Whether it's roasting stupid criminals or reuniting pets with their owners, they always come in clutch.
