My coworker told me this morning that I've been missing out on the best dessert in Lubbock, and now it's all I can think about. She should probably work in sales because the way she described it honestly has me thinking about stopping by after work one day this week to see if it's as good as she claims.

So what was she going on and on about?

I'll give you a hint: You can find it at Triple J Chophouse & Brew Co.

Does that ring any bells? Have an idea what dessert she is referring to?

She says the Pecan Cheesecake is the most delicious thing she's ever put into her mouth. She said she's pretty sure that it's made by "little angel babies up in heaven" or something, and that it is literally the smoothest and creamiest cheesecake she has ever eaten in her entire life. At one point, in our conversation, it was as if she was describing the love of her life. She was swooning in the doorway outside of my office.

I'm sold.

I took a peek at the menu to see if the cheesecake was made in-house or if they order it frozen, and it turns out, it's made completely from scratch, and it's got a pecan caramel sauce on top. Lord, have mercy.

Have you tried it? Do you think it was sent straight from heaven, too? I'm way too curious now. If you spot me at Triple J, cramming my face with Pecan Cheesecake, mind your business...
