Chaperone Policy Returns to Six Flags Over Texas: What You Need To Know
Planning on spending a day or two at Six Flags Over Texas this summer? I am. It's one of my favorite theme parks. I've been at least a dozen times, but it's been a while. I'm hoping to make a trip soon.
Plus, they are reinstating their chaperone policy. Thank goodness.
The famous Arlington theme park announced it will be bringing back an old policy that requires all guests 15 and under the be chaperoned by someone at least 21 years of age in the park after 4 p.m.. Chaperones are required to show a photo ID to prove they are 21, and are limited to no more than 10 guests under the age of 15 with them.
If you're under 15 and you are caught in the park after 4 pm without a chaperone, you could be asked to leave. Mom isn't going to be happy to get that phone call.
This cuts down on all the childish tomfoolery, and I'm all for that. My little sisters are exceptionally naughty teenagers, and I can only imagine what they'd be up to without adult supervision. They get into all kinds of messes and mayhem. Rules like this keep kids like my pesky sisters from driving you nuts while you're on vacation. Everyone is welcome!
