(Cedar Hill, Texas) One Texas woman was having a tough day, she had just left her mother in law’s funeral but decided to stop for a slushie as it was something the pair used to do together.
What should have been a sweet moment remembering a loved one quickly turned into a violent attack, which has now led to a $11 million dollar lawsuit filed against Walmart.
How Did the Texas Walmart Attack Start?
According to WFAA, Ann Flores stopped for a slushie and after going so many times with her mother-in-law, she knew the total would be $1.06.
There is video inside the Walmart Neighborhood Market that shows Ann getting a slushie then placing the money on the counter and sliding it toward the cashier.
According to Flores, the cashier said, “Pick that up. Pick it up and put it in my hand.” Flores turned to leave and that is when she says the cashier started yelling racial slurs.
