Is Pink’s “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)” a Rip-Off of Modest Mouse’s “Float On”? [AUDIO]

First off let me say I'm a huge P!nk fan. Of all the pop tarts in the world today, no one is as awesome as P!nk. Maybe Katy Perry. Ok, yeah, Katy is super awesome too. But that's now why I'm writing this.

I'm writing this because the very first second I heard P!nk's new song "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)" I knew the little twinkling guitar riff sounded a lot like the twinkling guitar riff from Modest Mouse's 2004 hit "Float On". So I've gathered them both here for you to decide. I would never claim P!nk is a rip-off artist. You can tell she writes her stuff from her heart. I just thought the two sounded very similar. Now of course they aren't exact copies, but did someone writing with or for P!nk steal this or was it a happy coincidence?
