On March 22nd at 10:50 a.m. Texas Tech students, both on and off campus, will be a part of the campus-wide TechAlert! System testing.  This will include outdoor siren testing, text messages, emails and phone calls.

From Texas Tech University Press Release:

“All faculty, staff, and students should update cell phone, home phone or text message information at emergency.ttu.edu. The system is used to alert the university community of emergency situations, class cancellations, and delays.”

Texas Tech Students are encouraged to update their information on RaiderLink as soon as possible.

So, don’t panic if you hear a siren on the morning of the 22nd, this is only a test!
