I Don’t Care if you ARE Maroon 5, Nobody Should Ever Cover Prince’s “Kiss”! EVER! [AUDIO] [VIDEO]

Some songs were just done right the first time. In other words no matter what band covers them, or how they cover them, the original will always be the best. Prince's "Kiss" is one of those songs.

Unfortunately it is also one of those songs that bands love to cover. And every cover I've ever heard hasn't just been bad, its been horrendous. Yes that includes Maroon 5's attempted honky-tonk blues style cover. I don't know how long ago they did this cover, and I don't care. I'm just now hearing it, and it's really bad. (That's probably why no one has ever mentioned it before now, it's that bad.)

It's just a bad idea to cover such an iconic song. You can't sing better than Prince so don't try!
