Apparently, it's really easy. All you have to do is get the Red Raider football team to win all of their home games. That can't be too difficult, right?

It's been, what, three years since they've done that? Oh...no? 11 years? That last time was in 2008?

Well...

It's still possible.

And Chris Beard really did promise to buy out the block on Broadway and have a party on his dime:

Let's take a peek at the home schedule to see if it's feasible.

Texas Tech starts the season at home against Montana State and UTEP. No offense to those two programs, but we're 33 percent closer to partying with Chris Beard.

The next home game is Oklahoma State. They have a new QB, and Alan Bowman has never lost to them. Next.

Homecoming comes next as Iowa State blows into town. This one will be tough, but Texas Tech is due, right? Iowa State has won three in a row -- their longest win streak ever against Texas Tech. The Red Raiders also have history on their side with an 11-6 all-time record against the Cyclones. Between the two of us, we can just assume we're still on track to party with Beard.

The Horned Frogs of TCU will join the Red Raiders next in the friendly confines of Jones AT&T Stadium. If you like patterns, it's TCU's year to win this "rivalry," but Alex Delton just got named QB, so I'm down to Bash Beers on Broadway with Beard after another dub for Texas Tech.

That brings us to Kansas State. Is Bill Snyder back? No. He's not.

Bowman. Beard. Broadway Block Party.

Obviously, this is just an elaborate stunt to get student and fan engagement, but Chris Beard will definitely be sweating the undefeated streak this year in The Jones. If it does happen, it will be the first time since 2008, and it would also lead, probably, to a winning record in the Big 12. Something Kliff Kingsbury never attained.

So, if you want free booze from Beard on Broadway, find a way to support the team and make them better on Game Day.
