How Much Does Lubbock Value Sex? Read the Chemistry.com Survey Results.
Chemistry.com, the super-huge dating website, surveyed it's over 10 million members. They asked how much the members value sex, then matched the answers up with where each respondent lives. Now we have the list of which cities value sex the most, and the least. The TOP 10 are:
#1.) Venice, California . . . also known as the Venice Beach area.
#2.) Santa Monica, California . . . close to L.A.
#3.) Newport Beach, California.
#4.) West Hollywood, California . . . a section of L.A.
#5.) West Los Angeles, California . . . another section of L.A.
#6.) Woodland Hills, California . . . and another section of L.A.
#7.) Miami Beach, Florida.
#8.) Redondo Beach, California . . . a part of south L.A.
#9.) Hoboken, New Jersey.
#10.) San Francisco, California.
Notice that 8 of the top 10 are in California, and 5 of those are around LA. Now for the BOTTOM 10, at #1 is:
#1.) Lubbock, Texas.
Now this is only a survey of those on Chemistry.com. So maybe you could look at it like "here in Lubbock we don't need dating websites to meet our partners and therefore these results have to be wrong." Or maybe the town with one of the highest STD rates per capita IN THE COUNTRY actually doesn't value sex, but it sure has a lot of it unprotected. (According to kcbd.com "the health department says Lubbock has the highest number of infection rates in the nation in both gonorrhea and chlamydia for the tenth straight year.") Either way it's a stupid little internet survey that doesn't mean squat in the end. But it's fun to see that we made the list right? Right...? Here's the rest of the bottom 10.
#2.) Schenectady, New York.
#3.) Lincoln, Nebraska.
#4.) Toledo, Ohio.
#5.) Springfield, Missouri.
#6.) Fort Wayne, Indiana.
#7.) Akron, Ohio.
#8.) Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
#9.) Dayton, Ohio.
#10.) Norfolk, Virginia.
