Hoarder Found Dead After One Month Along With $7 Million in Gold!
They say never judge a book by it's cover right? When I say hoarder you think gross, junk piled to the ceiling, roaches and spider even dead pets lost and buried. Well after this story you may not be so quick to judge.
69-year-old Walter Samaszko Junior of Carson City, Nevada was a hoarder and a loner. And sometime in either April or May, he died from heart problems. No one found him until his neighbors finally called the police in late June. That's right he lay dead for a month before anyone missed him.
The police found Walter's dead body amongst his piles and piles of stuff. But they also found something else. Walter wasn't just a junk hoarder. He also had $7 MILLION in gold bars and coins in his house. It's clear he didn't trust the banks, because he only had $200 in his account. In addition to the gold, he also had $165,000 worth of stock and $12,000 cash.
Authorities have been trying to track down a next of kin for the past few months, and were waiting to release this story until they did. After months of searching, they finally found the name of a first cousin living in San Rafael, California who just found herself several million dollars richer.
The Government of course will get it's chunk. About $750.000 dollars. Congratulations and our condolences.
