Hero Swims Through Frozen River to Save Trapped Dog

On Valentine's Day, you hear all about the love two people have for one another. Well, let's not forget the love a person can have for a pet.

Nowhere is that more evident than in this dramatic clip of a man swimming through frozen water to save his trapped dog.

This guy smashes the ice separating him from his pooch, who you can hear howling in fear. He then hauls the animal back to safety. No word on whether the man or dog were injured or suffered hypothermia.

They can take heart, though, in knowing that as cold as they were that's how much they warmed our hearts.
